As a fact, Cane Corso is a very young breed, accepted by different associations like FCI and AKC not more than 20 years ago, it is just impossible to have old photos of this breed.
This breed became from the Old Roman Dog, it’s a distant relative. We can jokingly call them a historical Cane Corso. If you read the Cane Corso history then you know it already. Mastino Napoletano is also relative to the Cane Corso, they are different in body structure. Mastino has much more skin, is powerful, and is very heavy with strong bones. While Cane Corso is an agile and powerful dog. Through breeding selection, people make different breeds, and I will talk about this in some future articles.
