Today we have an expansion of this look and many people are wrong when calling them Batmans. Let me explain what exacty this is…

This is the characteristic look of the very quality dog, but not all dogs called like this are the Batmans indeed, this is about the face and three very important characteristics:

• The color
• The shape of the eyes
• The shape of the cropped ears

Explanation of Batman Cane Corso characteristics

First, the color, it is about dark color in face/head, so it must be black or very dark brindle, with an excellent pigmentation of nose, eyelids and lips.

Second, the shape of Batman Cane Corso eyes is extremely important! It has to be “Batman’s style”, so the eyes are small and almond in shape, and the upper eyelid is slightly lowered, giving the fantastic expression and Batman’s strong look. More about Cane Corso expression you can check here.

Third, the shape of the cropped ears, is important the shape is about thin and moderately long, exactly as Batman has his. Might be shorter as well, depends on the taste, do you like longer or shorter.
