How to properly train your Cane Corso to wipe mouth by itself and make your life much easier?
Now take a position for few minutes read. You will spend only few minutes but make your whole life easier. Follow step by step and in only three days you will teach your dog usefull thing.
Let’s start…
First of all, you have go to pet shop and buy the double bowl stand. You might check on the web availability. So you will not waste your time by looking in person every pet shop. Depends of the quality, its the price. You have to go for the one which is suitable for the large breed dogs as Cane Corso is.
1st training day – fix Cane Corso drooling
After you bought double bowl stand. Make sure one of the bowls is the only one bowl your Cane Corso can drink water from. No other water bowls with in the house with water. Second bowl on stand, just put the towel on it ( as on the photo below ) so your dog can adapt there stays towl. That towel will used another day for training. Also will stay whole time so your Cane Corso can wipe drools later.
2nd training day – fix Cane Corso drooling
Your Cane Corso is adapted and dring water only from stand bowl. Now is ready for next step. When you notice its drinking water, you will put treat on the towel ( prepaired before and with you ). So your Cane Corso can come and take it with its mouth. And repeat this step several times during the day. Every time you see its on the bowl you put treat on the towel.
3rd training day – fix Cane Corso drooling
Your Cane Corso is already trained to wipe drooling, but is time to make him to that by itself and you dont need control it. That means that you will put treat under the towel and in bowl. Right after it drinks water, will goes to the towel because it knows treat is waiting for being snacked. It will wipe drooling but it will keeps mouth on it for several seconds by smelling treat ( enough for excellent wipe ), and after you notice all drools are on the towel, you will give it another treat from your hand.
Continue this way for the few more days if necessary and if your Cane Corso is stubborn. This works with mostly dogs after 3 days. Guaranteed!
